About the App

Offline Password Manager is a privacy-focused, cross-platform application designed to securely store and manage your credentials directly on your device. With an offline-first architecture and zero reliance on cloud storage, it ensures maximum data protection by leveraging your operating system’s secure storage mechanisms.

Key Features:

Offline Credential Storage

All credentials and sensitive data are stored locally, eliminating the risks associated with internet-based storage or cloud synchronization.

QR Code Integration

Easily import credentials or Wi-Fi configurations by scanning QR codes. The app intelligently logs scanned URLs and services for streamlined organization.

Live TOTP-based 2FA

A built-in, cross-platform Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) generator enables seamless two-factor authentication compatible with all major platforms, websites, and apps.

Export & Import Functionality

A feature that would allow users to share or store  there credentials in a JSON format, we use 3  layers of security in that JSON file (Random IV,AES 256, and PBKDF2) this ensures that file can only be opened in the app environment.

System Monitoring (Windows Only)

For Windows users, the app includes real-time hardware and network monitoring:

• CPU & RAM usage
• GPU identification
• Active SSID
• Network ping latency

Cross-Platform Compatibility

Built to work across Windows, Android, and with future plans for Linux and macOS, ensuring seamless usage regardless of your ecosystem.

LAN-Based Credential Syncing

The app now features enhanced LAN-based credential syncing:

• Mobile-to-Mobile: Uses mDNS (Bonjour) with advanced AES 256/TTS encryption for fast, secure synchronization.
• Desktop ↔ Mobile: Secure IP-to-IP syncing for desktops and Linux systems, ensuring flexible yet private device pairing with TOTP PIN that changes every session.

Development Timeline

This app was developed single-handedly between May 12, 2025, June 12, 2025 and as of August 8, 2025. With all core features implemented, the development phase is now complete. However, the app will continue to receive long-term updates, optimizations, and security patches to ensure reliability and performance.
